Valid Passport: You MUST have a valid passport (valid at least six months beyond the expected date of entry into Japan). It should equally contain approximately two unmarked pages, which will carry the visa sticker and entry/exit stamps. Any old passports should also be presented.

Visa Application Form: A fully signed and filled visa application form is needed. The form is available on the VFS Global website. Make all the information correct and consistent with your passport.

Photographs: 2 recent passport photos are required. It is non-negotiable that the biometric standards have to be followed.

Proof of Identity: You need to provide a copy of your Aadhaar card or any other government-issued photo ID as proof of identity.
