Key Highlights
This IELTS General Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Formal letter that you need to write in at least 150 words. Task 2 includes a Discussion Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.
IELTS Writing Task 1
A local library is planning to stay open for 24 hours a day on weekends as part of a trial programme. The library management has invited members of the public to give their opinions. Write a letter to the library manager.
In your letter:

Explain whether you support the proposal.

Describe how the extended opening hours would affect you.

Suggest additional services the library could provide during late-night hours.
IELTS Writing Task 2
In the future, artificial intelligence may be able to create books, music and paintings that are impossible to distinguish from human-made art. Should society value human-created art more than AI-generated art? Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Write at least 250 words.
