Key Highlights
This IELTS General Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Formal letter that you need to write in at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Agree/Disagree Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

A technology company is looking for volunteers to spend one week testing a new "smart home" system that uses artificial intelligence to control lights, security, appliances and daily routines. You are interested in taking part. Write a letter to the company.
