Key Highlights
This IELTS General Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is an Informal Letter that you need to write in at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Agree/Disagree Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

You recently attended a cultural festival in another city and stayed at a hotel recommended by a friend.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:

IELTS Writing Task 2
Some people believe that replacing physical cash with digital payment systems is a positive step for society. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
