Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Table on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Agree/Disagree Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.
IELTS Writing Task 1
The table presents the proportions of pupils attending four different types of secondary schools between 2000 and 2009. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.
IELTS Writing Task 2
Currently, there is a trend towards the use of alternative forms of medicine. However, at best, these methods are ineffective, and at worst, they may be dangerous.
To what extent do you agree with this statement?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.
Write at least 250 words.
