Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Pie Chart on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Agree/Disagree Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

The pie chart shows the amount of money that a children's charity located in the USA spent and received in one year, 2016. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and making comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.
IELTS Writing Task 2
Many people believe that reducing the income gap between the rich and the poor can lead to happier societies. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.
Write at least 250 words.
