Key Highlights
This IELTS General Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is an Informal letter that you need to write in at least 150 words. Task 2 includes a Positive/Negative Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.
IELTS Writing Task 1
A friend of yours has been selected to spend three months on a remote island as part of a documentary about simple living. Before leaving, they asked for your advice. Write a letter to your friend.
In your letter:

IELTS Writing Task 2
In the future, people may have a personal AI assistant that makes most of their daily decisions, including what to eat, what to study, and how to spend their free time. Do you think this would be a positive or negative development?
Write at least 250 words.
