Key Highlights
This IELTS General Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is an Informal letter that you need to write in at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Agree/Disagree Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

Your friend has recently moved into a new apartment. They want to make it feel more comfortable and welcoming but are unsure where to start. Write a letter to your friend.
In your letter:

IELTS Writing Task 2
Many people believe that keeping a personal diary or journal is beneficial, even in the digital age. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.
Write at least 250 words.
