Key Highlights
This IELTS General Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is an Informal letter that you need to write in at least 150 words. Task 2 includes a Discussion Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.
IELTS Writing Task 1
You borrowed an important textbook from a classmate last term. You now realise your classmate has returned home overseas, and you still have the book. Write a letter to him/her.
In your letter:

IELTS Writing Task 2
Some people find it beneficial to send young children to nursery school before they go to primary school, while others think it is good to keep children at home with their family. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Write at least 250 words.
