Key Highlights
This IELTS General Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Formal Letter, which you need to write in at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Agree/Disagree Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

You have just read an article in an international travel magazine that contains some information about your town that is incorrect. Write a letter to the editor of the magazine.
In your letter:

IELTS Writing Task 2
Children brought up in families with less money are better prepared for life than those from wealthy families. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.
Write at least 250 words.
