Key Highlights
This IELTS General Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Formal Letter, which you need to write in at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Agree/Disagree Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.
IELTS Writing Task 1
You have moved to another city, but your bank still has your old address and continues to send all communications there. Write a letter to your bank branch.
In this letter:
- Where have you moved to?
- What problem are you facing regarding the bank's communication?
- What do you want them to do regarding the old communication already sent to the wrong address?
IELTS Writing Task 2
People will buy a product if it is of high quality or fulfils their needs. There is no need for advertisement. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Write at least 250 words.
