Key Highlights
This IELTS General Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is an Semi-Formal Letter, which you need to write in at least 150 words. Task 2 includes a Problem Solution Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

You are studying for a qualification, and you would like some time off work to complete it.
Write a letter to your manager.
In your letter:
