Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Bar Chart on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes a Direct Question Essay topic that you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

The bar chart below shows the percentage of students who passed their high school competency exams, by subject and gender, during the period 2010-2011. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
