Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Flow Chart on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes a Discussion Essay topic that you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.
IELTS Writing Task 1
The flowchart illustrates the production of coloured plastic paper clips in a small factory. Write a report for a university tutor describing the production process.
Write at least 150 words.
IELTS Writing Task 2
Some people believe that sleeping is the only way to get enough rest. Others believe that physical activities, such as playing games and exercising, also provide sufficient relaxation. Discuss both views and provide your opinion.
Write at least 250 words.
