Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Bar Chart on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes a Discussion Essay topic that you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.
IELTS Writing Task 1
The chart shows students’ monthly expenditure as a percentage over a three-year period in the United Kingdom. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.
IELTS Writing Task 2
Some people believe that robots are important for human development, while others think they are a dangerous invention that will negatively impact society. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.
Write at least 250 words.
