Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Bar Chart on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Agree/Disagree Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

The chart below shows the total number of minutes (in millions) of telephone calls in Finland, divided into three categories, from 1995 to 2004. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
IELTS Writing Task 2
The only way to solve the increasing crime rate of young offenders is to teach parents better parenting skills. To what extent do you agree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.
Write at least 250 words.
