Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Graph on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes a Discussion Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

The graphs below provide information on global population figures and figures for urban populations in different world regions. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

IELTS Writing Task 2
Some people think that modern technology is making people more sociable, while others think it is making them less sociable. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Write at least 250 words.
