This IELTS Speaking Practice Test has 3 Sections. In Part 1, you will be asked questions for 4- 5 minutes about Mirrors by your examiner. One item that I recently bought for my home was a decorative mirror. I purchased it from a local home décor store in my city.

I decided to buy this mirror because I wanted to improve the overall appearance of my living room. The space looked a bit plain, and I felt that adding a stylish mirror would make it more attractive. Moreover, I had heard that mirrors can create the illusion of a larger space, which is useful since my living room is not very big.

The mirror I chose had a unique frame with a modern design, which perfectly matched the rest of my furniture. It was both functional and decorative, so it served two purposes at once.

I felt really satisfied after buying it because it completely changed the look of my room. It made the space look brighter and more spacious. Overall, it was a worthwhile purchase, and I would definitely recommend using mirrors as a decorative element in homes.

Technology may also play a role, with smart homes and modern lighting systems influencing interior design. Overall, people’s preferences will continue to evolve depending on lifestyle and trends.
