Recently, British Columbia and Ontario released the number of ITAs they issued in the latest PNP draws conducted by both provinces. The draws for the provincial nominee program were conducted on June 11, 2024. Both British Columbia and Ontario conduct them on the same day.

Total ITAs Issued: ITA Breakup Explained

The combined number of ITAs issued by both provinces to 310 candidates. British Columbia issued 66 ITAs for eligible candidates. To be eligible for the British Columbia PNP, you must have a CRS score between 93 and 131. You are allocated a CRS score based on points to determine your competitive ability in the Express Entry pool. The higher your CRS score is, the better your chances of getting an express entry nomination.

While British Columbia issued 66 ITAs in their PNP draw, the province of Ontario issued 244 ITAs, much higher than BC. The CRS score criteria accepted applications with a score of 43 and above. While British Columbia issued ITAs for skilled immigration invitations only, Ontario issued ITAs for foreign workers and international students.

You have to meet the following eligibility criteria to be considered for Canada PNP:

Have 67 points on the grid
Have ample work experience in your field
Be covered through medical insurance
Have a police clearance certificate
Have the required educational background (at least a bachelor's, master's preferable)
Be under 40 years of age
