Key Highlights
This IELTS General Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Semi-Formal Letter that you need to write in at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Advantage/Disadvantage Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.
IELTS Writing Task 1
Your town is planning to hold a "Talent and Hobby Festival" where residents can display their skills, collections, artwork, or unique hobbies. The event coordinator has asked for feedback. Write a letter to the coordinator.
In your letter:

Many companies now allow employees to work from home instead of travelling to an office every day. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?
