Key Highlights
This IELTS General Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a formal letter that you need to write in at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Agree/Disagree Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.
IELTS Writing Task 1
Write a letter to your local council stating that the road in front of your house is damaged.
In your letter, you should:

Suggest what you want him to do for it.
IELTS Writing Task 2
It is more important to spend public money on promoting a healthy lifestyle to prevent illness than on treating people who are already ill. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
You should write at least 250 words for each answer.
