Key Highlights
This IELTS General Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Semi-Formal Letter, which you need to write in at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Agree/Disagree Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.
IELTS Writing Task 1
Your colleague recently gave you a book. You had a presentation, and this book helped you with the presentation. Write a letter to your colleague.
In your letter:
- Tell the topic of your presentation
- Why the presentation was important for you
- How the book helped you in presentation
IELTS Writing Task 2
The top priority of businesses is making money, and they do not need to have social responsibilities. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.
Write at least 250 words.
