Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is Map on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Opinion-Based Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. Spend about 20 minutes on Task 1 and about 40 minutes on Task 2.

Two maps show the change of a coastal town called Pentland, from 1950 to 2007. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.
IELTS Writing Task 2
Foreign visitors should pay more than local visitors for cultural and historical attractions. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.
You should write at least 250 words.
