Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Pie Chart on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Advantage/Disadvantage Essay topic that you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

The two pie charts below show the online shopping sales for retail sectors in Canada in 2005 and 2010. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Some people think that to reduce traffic and pollution, the government should increase taxes on petrol (gasoline). Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
