Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Diagram on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Agree/Disagree Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

The map below is of the town of Canterbury. A new school is planned for the area. The map shows two possible sites for the school. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.
IELTS Writing Task 2
People who read for pleasure have better imagination and language skills than those who prefer watching TV. To what extent do you agree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.
Write at least 250 words.
