Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Graph on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes a Direct Question Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

The graph below shows the population figures of different types of turtles in India between 1980 and 2012. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Many museums and historical sites are mainly visited by tourists rather than by local people. Why is this the case? What can be done to attract more local people to visit these places?
