Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Map on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Advantage and Disadvantage Essay topic that you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.
IELTS Writing Task 2
In many countries, it is mandatory for school children to wear uniforms. Do the advantages of this policy outweigh the disadvantages? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Write at least 250 words.
