Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Pie Chart on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Advantage/Disadvantage Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

The pie charts below show the results of a survey of children’s activities. The first pie chart shows the cultural and leisure activities boys participate in, whereas the second shows the activities girls participate in.
Write a report describing the information shown in the two pie charts.
Write at least 150 words.

Many old cities around the world are going through a major process of modernisation. What are the advantages and disadvantages of modernisation?
Write at least 250 words.
