Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Map on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Agree/Disagree Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

IELTS Writing Task 2
In some countries, an increasing number of people are suffering from health problems as a result of eating too much fast food. Therefore, the government should impose higher taxes on this kind of food. Do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.
Write in at least 250 words.
