Key Highlights
This IELTS Academic Writing Test consists of 2 tasks. Task 1 is a Table on which you need to write a report of at least 150 words. Task 2 includes an Advantage/Disadvantage Essay topic, which you need to write in 250 words. You need 20 minutes for Task 1 and 40 minutes for Task 2.

The table below shows the number of medals won by the top ten countries in the London 2012 Olympic Games. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

In many cities, planners tend to arrange shops, schools, offices, and homes in specific areas and to separate them from one another. Do you think the advantages of this policy outweigh the disadvantages?
